The vast culture of cuisine around the world is truly represented by its own unique pantry of staples.
Foods are foraged from native plants in their respected zones, along with collections of seeds sown into fruit and vegetable gardens. These items along with the domestication of farm stock have led to a heritage of cultural cuisine. Not only this but how they cook is dictated by how much fuel is available for cooking. Each generation of trials and tribulations has been documented, taught and crafted for thousands of years. The flavors of their cultural cuisine are now on stage and only to be revealed one bite at a time.
Join Chef Kurtis Purdy of Tonto Bar & Grill as he dives knife and fork deep into these cultures. Chef Purdy will present unique flavors from the corners of the world by featuring a different culture each month in our “A Taste of Culture” inspired event.
